Description We are offering a long- term contract employment opportunity for a Mortgage Assistant in our Credit Union located in Troy, Michigan. The role is primarily focused on post-closing processes and document management. As a Mortgage Assistant, your responsibilities include dealing with mortgage-related documents, and providing support for closing and post-closing activities.Responsibilities: Manage and complete post-closing files related to mortgages. Identify and handle final or closed documents with accuracy. Scan and organize mortgage documents into respective folders. Utilize your skills in mortgage closing to ensure seamless transactions. Apply your knowledge of the mortgage industry to effectively perform your duties. Demonstrate your professionalism in dealing with mortgage documents. Perform accurate and efficient filing of all relevant documents. Ensure all scanning documents are managed and stored properly. Leverage your experience in closing processes to enhance our mortgage operations.Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Mortgage Industry Proficient with Mortgage Documents and Closing Processes Familiarity with Mortgage Closing procedures Experience in roles working with Mortgage Professionals Skilled in Scanning Documents and maintaining organized files Proficiency in Filing and document management Must have a clear understanding of the Credit Union industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make swift decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or certifications in related field preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
