Please review the job profile below and apply today!.This position is responsible for providing cost estimation support for the Properties & Real Estate project implementation teams. Areas of involvement include the development of budgets, actual cost tracking and reporting for new stores, fuel stations, prototypes, remodels, capital projects and cost estimation for new concepts and change alterations.Hybrid Schedule offered: Monday-Wednesday in-office, Thursday-Friday flexible/remote days.What You'll Be Doing:Prepare detailed cost estimates used for purposes such as planning, prioritizing, and scheduling work.

Solicit quote from external contractors/suppliers to deliver timely turnaround; Clarify inclusions, exclusions, alternates, etc.

Consult with suppliers, vendors, internal business partners and construction partners as needed.

Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

Coordinates and participates in project planning meetings, as required, with customers and company stakeholders to gain an understanding of project scope and cost drivers.

Provides cost estimates to support the evaluation of changes and/or scope alterations.

Participates in the Project Change Management process.

Performance of estimate to actual analysis to help improve overall estimate accuracy.

Develop and maintain costing models/matrix to be reference for initial project considerations and planning.

Establish and maintain baseline prototype estimates.

Provide guidance on VE opportunities gained through trade contractor & CM inputs.

Assess cost effectiveness of products or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as projects evolve.

Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future projects.

Establish reporting models to compare performance with peers in the industry.

Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.

Track and monitor industry trends, unit rates and labor rates per market/region.

Coordinate award of work detail with Sourcing Team.

Provides visibility to project metrics, cost trends and recommendations to mitigate cost increases.

Coordinate with Properties, Finance, Accounting and all teams on budget submissions, funding transfers, etc.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Urban Planning, Architecture or related field.

5+ years of construction cost estimation, project budget preparation and forecasting for retail or retail related facilities.

General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost controls.

Good time management and planning skills.

Function well in teams and able to work effectively on individual assignments.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong detail orientation, organization and time management skills.

Proficient in Excel, PowerBi, Alteryx, SQL.

Preferred knowledge in SAP, Ariba, Procore.

Self-driven and ability to prioritize workload.
