WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role is looking for an experienced Principal Architect to assist with the agile implementation and administration of the OneStream platform to support Financial Planning, Consolidation, and additional OneStream Marketplace solutions. The candidate will partner with the Product Owner and Technology Lead to achieve successful business and technology goals to support our CFO business partners. This role will be partnering with an implementation partner to ensure we have solid foundation to continue to leverage the OneStream unified platform for additional solutions, we are looking to add some internal OneStream experience to support the process. The ideal candidate will have experience in both implementing and maintaining solutions in the OneStream platform and the responsibilities listed below:
  • Partner with Business and Technology Leaders who understand Finance business needs and take ownership of decision-making, team engagement, and coordinating with squad members for critical Finance projects.
  • Leverage previous OneStream experience to ensure implementation of Financial Planning and Consolidation capabilities provides foundation that supports continued expansion of OneStream platform to support CFO business processes.
  • Manage integrations and perform validations from source system / data warehouse (e.g., SAP, AWS), ensure source data flows downstream as required to cubes, perform data reconciliation, and maintain data integrity of what is being loaded into the OneStream application and downstream cubes.
  • Oversee the execution of various project tasks, including gathering data/requirements, analyzing data, documenting processes, designing solutions, and creating executive presentations.
  • Support CFO business partners in the on-going design, implementation and enhancement of driver-based planning models used by each of the business segments.
  • Build and maintain custom drill-back routines to allow users to easily analyze and view source data sent to OneStream and ensure required data and connections are available to support.
  • Support development and distribution of reports (OneStream Cube Views and Excel Add-in) as requested by CFO business partners and educating on additional capabilities within the platform.
  • Perform monthly and daily maintenance of OneStream including the execution and monitoring of extract and load processes. In addition, experience with OneStream audit /event logs will be helpful to support investigation of issues identified by the business or our team to identify root cause and possible process changes.
  • Engage business stakeholders and technology partners to refine business requirements and adhere to data governance and design patterns aligned with the enterprise data strategy.
  • Interpret and analyze business requirements submitted on metadata requests for processing and ensure proper business decision maker approval is captured for metadata updates, as deploy required changes into OneStream cubes.
  • Support prototyping activities that will validate business requirements, solution definition and minimize risk.
  • Maintain the user security model to ensure access is restricted to the appropriate data and business processes within the OneStream application.
  • Handle ambiguity and function effectively in a matrix organization.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep functional and technical experience the OneStream platform; OneStream certification is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining OneStream XF Financial Planning and / or Consolidation solution.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, preferably in the Finance business domain.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Design, Data Quality solutions, Metadata solutions, advanced analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in databases/data warehousing (Oracle/SQL Server).
  • Experience with VB.net or Visual Basic is required.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) is required, Power BI experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies in a distributed team environment is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
