Job Description:
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering and Manufacturing to define Product Specifications
  • Work with Suppliers to develop High-Performance Computing solutions (HPC), including component selection and configuration
  • Assist in the evaluation of designs and solutions of hardware, and software for the HPC needs of KLA Tools
  • Creation of KLA part numbers and BOM as well ECO to release it onto KLA database (Enovia/SAP)
  • Participate in System Integration of Image Computer Hardware and Software
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Order (ECO) Release into Manufacturing, include BOM spec and field replaceable unit spec
  • Support system teams when they experience potential HPC platform issues
  • Support End of Life in Components, evaluate replacements, and release into manufacturing

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working with computer systems suppliers
  • Novice Understanding of parallel computing techniques on multi-core computational systems

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant, work-related experience.
  • Minimum

    1 year of relevant system design experience
  • Solid knowledge of HPC systems and technology
  • Server Lab/Datacenter Experience
  • Experience with VMWare as an Engineer
  • Experience with Linux OS’s such as Redhat, SUSE & OS Variants
