Project Management Consultant

TEKsystems is looking for a cloud migration project manager to lead our team in migrating our applications and infrastructure to the cloud. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the cloud migration projects, ensuring that they meet the quality, cost, and time objectives. You will also collaborate with the business stakeholders, vendors, and other IT teams to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with the business goals and requirements.Responsibilities Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the cloud migration projects, and manage the project budget and schedule. Facilitates technical meetings to help address solutions to technical questions. Coordinate and communicate with the project team, business stakeholders, vendors, and other IT teams throughout the project lifecycle. Manage the risks, issues, and dependencies of the cloud migration projects, and escalate them as needed. Ensure that the cloud migration projects follow the best practices, standards, and methodologies for cloud computing, security, and governance. Track and report the progress, status, and performance of the cloud migration projects, and ensure that the project documentation is updated and maintained. Conduct quality assurance and testing of the cloud migration projects, and ensure that the migrated applications and infrastructure meet the functional and non-functional requirements.Requirements At least 5 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably in cloud computing, migration, or transformation. Knowledge and experience in cloud computing platforms, such as Azure and cloud migration tools and methodologies. Proven track record of delivering complex and large-scale cloud migration projects on time, within budget, and with high quality. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Excellent PowerPoint creation skills are required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities. Certification in project management, such as PMP or Agile, Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Certification in cloud computing, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is a plus.lAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
