Scope of Services:The organization is seeking full-time, qualified candidates who will utilize their knowledge,skills, and abilities to serve as a Project Manager.Essential Functions: Responsible for project planning and project management Manage project(s) including:o Development and maintenance of project scheduleo Develop project charterso Coordination and chairing of project meetingso Tracking/managing action items, issues and riskso Escalating major issues as needed Align with project requirements (Gate Reviews, documentation deliverables, etc.) Manage third party vendors Required Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. Education:Required Bachelor's Degree Required skills:- 5 years experience in project management of technology initiatives.
- Experience managing complex projects that spread across multiple departments.
- Advanced Microsoft Project skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Project management skills and experience managing simple to large, complex projects.
- An understanding of the business use and capabilities of information technologies, such as hardware and software business applications
- A technical understanding of systems, networks and application software.
- Ability to deliver appropriate project statuses to different levels of management
- Sound ability to manage resources in a matrix organization, including vendor resources.
Preferred Skills:- Experience managing projects involving third party vendors
- Project management in Infrastructure including Video and Display Technology
- Public Sector experience
Licenses/ Certifications :Preferred Certification in project management
