DescriptionDepartment: Behavioral Health UnitShift: NightsDaily Work Times: 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.Scheduled Biweekly Hours: 32Position Summary:Provides care to patients with acute psychiatric disorders under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsible for recording and reporting patient's status, conditions and outcome of care to facilitate the treatment process.QualificationsRequired:Associates degree in human services field or science, or;
High school diploma with three years providing directpatient care in an inpatient psychiatric unit or residential setting, or;
High school diploma with three years of relevant experiencein human services (social services, law enforcement, community mental health,or criminal justice) or working as security officer in a hospital setting
Preferred:Certificationas Psychiatric Technician Previous experience working on an inpatient orpartial hospital psychiatric unit
