Tyler Technologies; Cashiering team, within the payments product vertical is looking to fill a QA Automation Analyst role to accelerate the build out of Tyler's enterprise-wide cashiering and point of sales payment collection application. You will be joining a multi-discipline team of experienced developers, product experts, and technical resources all focused on delivering a world class solution to Tyler's diverse customer base. You will have the ability to work on a critical piece of Tyler's solution suite of payment processing and revenue management functionality, utilized by an extensive nationwide group of federal, state and local agencies.
The QA Automation Analyst is responsible for defining, coding, and executing UI automation tests that are moderate to complex in nature, working with accepted development department standards and procedures.LocationTroy, MichiganTravel0-5%Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and accurate automated testing of web-based applications using a Selenium based automation framework.
- Define, code, execute, review results, and report metrics to the team in support of software releases and patches, to validate new functionality and/or bug fixes.
- Effectively partner, communicate, and negotiate with business analyst, development, and support groups in order to implement automated tests that confirm business requirements are met.
- Document software defects in the issue-tracking system and proactively track them through resolution.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of QA testing and test automation best practices, concepts, and technologies obtained through formal training and work experience.
- Adhere to and assist in the development of standards, procedures, methods and/or tools to improve the efficiency of the Automation process.
- Participate in agile processes and ceremonies to collaborate with the team to define stories, tasks, estimates, and acceptance criteria.
- Provide analysis and consulting support for development and support employees.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work independently to organize assigned work and make sound independent decisions.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Sciences, Management Information Science, or Business. Equivalent work experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- Prior experience in software quality assurance, software automation, Tyler software or related experience helpful.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills involving sound decision making and effective resolutions.
- Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies and practices preferred.
- Familiarity with basic coding and/or scripting is helpful.
- Full Agile software development lifecycle familiarity is strongly preferred.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organizational skills involving the ability to manage multiple work streams effectively.
- Strong time management skills with proven track record of delivering successful results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills involving the ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical and non-technical information.
