Job Description: Within SCA-V (Single Complete Actionable Vehicle), a phenomenal opportunity awaits on a team that is responsible for driving connected vehicle strategy by managing global data streams that integrate with internal systems shaping the future of vehicles. The Test Specialist role is critical in ensuring data integrity and availability. This position requires: - Perform Functional, Technical, Smoke, integration, system, regression and back-end testing.
- Ability to create back-end test cases for a system that leverages Java, Hadoop using MapReduce, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, HBase, and Spark.
- Prepare, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
- Experience with automated testing including JUnit.
- Familiarity with Rally.
- Familiarity with Agile Test Methodologies.
- Support User acceptance testing, understanding decoding rules.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good documentation skills.
- Team Player.
