Under general supervision, and according to establishedpolicies and procedures, will provide excellent customer service by greetingpatients, answering the phone and directing the caller as appropriate. Performsduties across all physician practices, patient registration, schedulingappointments, collecting insurance co-pays and deductibles, insuranceverification, records financial activity and accounts for all transactionscompleted on each shift. Provides continuity of flow of incoming and outgoingcommunication. Cross training in all practices, filing and retrieval of patientmedical records is also necessary, along with maintenance of a neat and orderlyoffice.Required:
Highschool graduate or equivalent.
1year of experience in office setting or high level customer serviceenvironment.
Preferred:
CPR
Experiencein a medical office.
Experiencewith insurance billing procedures
Experiencewith an electronic medical record system
Knowledgeof medical terminology
