The Sales Operations & Forecast Analyst is a key member of the Revenue Enablement team, collaborating with and providing critical support to drive executive decision making through quantitative and qualitative analysis. This position is subject expert on all sales reporting facets including sales pipeline & forecast visibility to sales leadership and executive management. This includes, but is not limited to, providing the most accurate & timely insights, projections & visibility based on all data resources available and making decisions on gap and opportunity assessments by product line, sales team, client and vertical. It requires proficiency with analytical tools, knowledge of data analysis methodology, and the use of presentation software (PowerPoint and/or Tableau). The position requires interaction with members of multiple teams across the organization, both technical and business-oriented roles. This person must have outstanding data analyzation skills, and the ability to decipher and report significant data points to sales business leaders. Vital to success in this role, is the ability to develop strong relationships with our Sales organization (as our primary customer), Sales Enablement, Operations, CRM, Finance, and other cross functional owners to ensure end to end linkage, resulting in maximized productivity and results for the organization.KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESAd hoc and Day-to-day forecast responsibilities include providing forecast insights and visibility to key constituents regarding sales pipeline and forecast which includes forecast gap identification, forecast guidance reinforcement, commit calls, forecast accuracy insights, etc. 20%Assist in annual Sales Quota Planning Process and ongoing Quota Mngt. 20%Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to Sales Process & Forecast Logic. Requires keen understanding of both up and downstream processes, revenue recognition, commissionable rules, alignment to the GL as well as internal data flow, sales stage relevance and opportunity management within CRM, to ensure timely and accurate information. 20%Determine appropriate course of action for ad hoc requests and complete in an efficient and effective manner. 10%Extract key insights from vast, multiple data sets for executive management consumption. 10%Analyze data to identify trends and insights that drive opportunities for leader s sales, sales operations, and marketing by mining and analyzing data in the CRM system, revenue system, and other third-party data repositories. 10%Assist and lead efforts to improve data integrity for leads, contacts, sales activity, pipeline opportunities, client and prospect counts, affiliates, mergers & acquisitions, etc. 5%Provide SFDC sales support - reinforce pipeline management best practices and enhancements to sales organization and management. 5%
