Seasonal manager for hotel on beautiful Beaver Island, MI

The Harbor View Motel and Condos are located in the heart of St. James on Beaver Island. This remote island paradise in northern Lake Michigan is home to a tight-knit community with a booming tourism season in the summer months.

We are looking for someone, or a couple, to manage the property full time during our season from May 1-December 1. We provide a salary, and a 2-bedroom apartment located on the property with all utilities included. Prior hospitality management experience is preferred. The right candidate will embody our "We Care" motto, have excellent customer service skills, high standards of cleanliness, and be able to work long hours and weekends.

Duties:

Manage day-to-day operations of a 14-unit property with an in-ground pool

Hire, train, and supervise part-time housekeeping staff

Housekeeping and light maintenance

Hire contractors for property maintenance and repairs

Use online reservation system and produce reports as required by the board of directors

Work long hours, weekends, and holidays

Procure supplies, linens, equipment

Marketing / Social media as needed
