Primary responsibilities include maintaining student records, managing records requests, assisting with grades processing, managing reservation requests, and assisting with the transfer course evaluation process.Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

Assist with the transfer course evaluation process

Manage the retention process of student transcripts from other institutions

Maintain academic record information

Manage requests for academic records

Manage the process of converting historical academic records to Banner

Assist with midterm and final grades processes: manage grading coordinator access, send grade reports and other communications regarding grades processing to various administrators

Process grade changes

Manage reservation requests for rooms that are maintained by the registrar’s office

Assist with office activities as needed: register students and process schedule changes (drops and adds) and update demographic and biographic student information

Commit to learning about continuous improvement strategies and applying them to everyday work. Actively engage in University continuous improvement initiatives

Apply safety-related knowledge, skills, and practices to everyday work

Required Education, Certifications, Licensures (minimum requirements)

High school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

Required Experience (minimum requirements)

Five years of administrative support experience

Five years of experience using personal computers, basic software packages, and web-based tools such as Google Suite

Experience using intermediate features of word processing, spreadsheet, and/or database software

Desirable Education and/or Experience

Experience working with Banner

Professional experience working with post-secondary student academic records

Associate degree or higher

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write and deliver messages that will engage a broad range of constituents, including students, faculty, and staff.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.

Experience interpreting complex policies and procedures and interpreting data

Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and contribute to the overall smooth operation of a service environment.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple work assignments.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cultural boundaries and work harmoniously with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.

Demonstrated commitment to contribute to a safe work environment
