Be part of the team enabling the journey from On-Premise to Microsoft Azure in the areas of architecture, development, security, operations, integration, migration, and managed services. As a Cloud Engineer, you will participate and lead technical teams to architect, build, and deploy cloud solutions for highly complex distributed software systems in Microsoft Azure. This position will require a wide skill set in cloud computing, software architecture, infrastructure, data and networking

What You'll be Doing:
  • Architecting highly complex distributed software systems using cloud services from Microsoft Azure
  • Building, migrating and testing cloud-based systems including integration with existing on-premise and cloud systems as well as other providers systems
  • Reviewing and supporting development teams in architecting and designing end to end application and data services and security
  • Be the technical lead for application migration projects including optimizing technical reliability and improving application performance
  • Integration with on-premise applications, cloud providers or other platforms
  • Implementing cost optimized solutions (based on usage, business requirements and budget)
  • Participate in off-hours on-call rotation

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience and technical training is required.
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in application engineering and/or IT support required.
  • 8+ years of experience in the architecting, implementation and maintaining highly complex distributed software systems using cloud and infrastructure services
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience in an Enterprise environment

Additional Desired Skills:
  • Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies AZ-300 Certification
  • Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing the SAFe Agile framework
  • Experience with software engineering and Infrastructure scripting, including source control practices, release management, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
  • Install, configure, automate, and monitor various Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
  • Experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalling concepts
  • Experience designing and deploying cloud and hybrid cloud networking
  • Experience with Infrastructure automation templates such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Cloud Formation / Runbooks
  • Understand how to deploy multi-tier applications in a hybrid cloud environment
  • Experience with API Gateways
