Job Title: Electrical Service TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Service Technician to wire large complex electrical panels according to schematics. The ideal candidate will be fluent with 480V 3-phase wiring and drive motors, and have knowledge of 24VDC, 120V/240V wiring systems. Familiarity with Ladder Logic and Siemens PLC’s is essential. You will be responsible for installing electrical panels in cabinets, mounting them to machinery, and cross wiring electrical panels and cabinets. Additionally, you will mount and wire sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, and install/calibrate linear transducers. Using neat and consistent wiring techniques, you will complete electrical checklists of operations. You will also assemble and install sub-assemblies for large complex machinery according to mechanical prints, teardown and load machines into container trucks, and travel to customer locations to install and start up blow molding machinery. The role includes troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems by referencing prints.Responsibilities

Wire large complex electrical panels according to schematics.

Fluent with 480V 3-phase wiring and drive motors.

Knowledge of 24VDC, 120V/240V wiring systems.

Familiar with Ladder Logic and Siemens PLC’s.

Install electrical panels in cabinets and mount to machinery.

Cross wiring electrical panels and cabinets.

Mount and wire sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, install/calibrate linear transducers.

Use neat and consistent wiring techniques.

Complete electrical checklist of operations.

Assemble and install sub-assemblies for large complex machinery according to mechanical prints.

Teardown and load machines into container trucks.

Travel to customer locations to install and start up blow molding machinery.

Reference prints to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Essential Skills

Openness to travelling 50% of the time to customer sites (regional and across the nation).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong familiarity with industrial equipment/machinery.

Experience with Ladder Logic and Siemens PLC’s.

Proficiency in mounting and wiring sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, and installing/calibrating linear transducers.
