- Partners with project sponsors, project teams and other stakeholders to help evaluate technical and business requirements and to develop and implement approaches and solution alternatives.
- Develops project charter/scope document and manages the programs or projects and their life cycles through the creation, collection, and maintenance of project documentation in accordance with corporate PM standards
- Integrates inputs and schedules from multiple sources to create a cohesive plan with an identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed upon project plans and schedules ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.
- Adapts project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout projects, to respond to emerging requirements and risks.
- Communicates overall project status including milestones, adherence to project deadlines, and relevant risks to teams, stakeholders, and management.
- Identifies and anticipates risks and issues; facilitates resolution, mitigation, and appropriate escalation.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation & artifacts, including but not limited to; project charter, project workbook, budget tracking, risk log, change log, communication plans, RAID, backlog, etc.
- Holds team members accountable, sets clear performance standards, resolves performance issues, and keeps technical teams engaged and on task.
- Milestone establishment and tracking are critical tasks in this role.
- University degree in Information Technology, or business administration and/or 3-5 years equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience managing IT Technology and Enterprise Software Implementation projects.
- Must be highly organized with strong ITIL and ServiceNow implementation experience.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; heavy emphasis on the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of project delivery methodologies
- Experience working in a matrixed global organization where success requires broad orchestration of resources and services.
- Strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies, and policies
- PMP certification is a strong plus.
- Understanding of ITIL concepts and ServiceNow application suite – ITSM, ITBM, ITOM etc.
- Utilize knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies
- Deliver on commitments (high quality, on budget, on time) while working on multiple projects concurrently.
- Comfortable relating openly, honestly, and consistently with diverse groups of people.
- Act decisively for improvement in both projects and in the organization including addressing urgent, time sensitive, or critical issues.
- Use leadership skills to align project and department goals with the organization's and sponsor's goals.
- Lead a project team, create, and maintain group cohesiveness, interact with internal and external customers, and manage vendor relationships.
- Work in a fast-paced, hybrid/agile environment
- Possess a willingness and ability to work non-standard hours to support delivery of time-critical project deadlines.
