- DevOps engineer, for custom solutions within an existing application framework and the Azure technology stack.
- The engineer will join a DevOps team that is building and supporting complex applications forming a cohesive platform.
- This involves constructing, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting releases, pipelines and the Microsoft Azure platform.
- The product space is expanding both in terms of applications and technologies.
- The DevOps engineer must be able to successfully demonstrate the ability to design, code, test, document, deploy, and support cloud based as well as cloud native solutions.
- Working independently, as well as within a team, exhibiting the ability to adapt and communicate are essential to success in this role.
- Maintaining and sometimes extending a long-standing legacy application.
- Debug, test, and perform RCA plus correct code issues in unfamiliar languages and frameworks.
- Designing, evaluating, adhering to, and applying best practices and coding standards with an emphasis on quality.
- Supporting the team as an application developer, data migration analyst, and database administrator.
- Being a steward for Client demonstrating leadership and accountability with a focus on customer centric solutions.
- Develops skills in technology, data architecture, characterization testing, and management to take on new concepts and business processes or determine functionality of legacy modules.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information.
- Technology or Computer Engineering with a specialization in Software Development or Computer/Software Engineering equivalent experience with a solid understanding and skill in Object Oriented Programming.
- Experience with Winforms and Webforms.
- At least 3 years of Full-Stack Software Development Work Experience including .Net framework with C#.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Substantial experience and knowledge in creating applications that include two-way API's, (SOAP, WCF, REST).
- Experience developing with Azure Data Factory and creating / updated Azure DevOps Build Pipelines.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete work before the end of an Agile Scrum Sprint Cycle without rollover.
- Familiarity with reading and creating complex flow charts, DFD's, ERD's and more.
- Competency in achieving 70%+ Unit Test Coverage.
- Conceptual familiarity with Microsoft Azure & AWS.
- Familiarity with application and network security fundamentals.
- Expert in the above and C device development.
- Experience with developing Embedded Power BI reports.
- MS SQL training and/or certifications.
- Expert level Data Migration and API Creation Skills.
- Certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expert / Azure Developer Associate.
- At least a year of SecDevOps experience.
- At least 2 years of API development experience in .NET Core, Node.js, or Spring Boot with a MS
- At least a year of frontend experience with Angular 4+.
- At least a year of experience as a full stack developer.
- Exhibits the core skills and mindset of a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
- Has an architectural mindset including an understanding of .NET CLI, SOLID, OOPS, and DRY
- Proficiency using Skillsoft / Udemy / Coursera / LinkedIn Learning.
- Agile Scrum Fundamentals, Product Owner or Scrum Master Certifications.
