Call MJ - +1 / No C2C You will:Be part of a growing team responsible for both managing and enhancing two legacy applications, and responsible for designing and developing a rewrite/modernization these two applications.The current applications are written in classic ASP technology, one using Oracle and the other SQL Server. Both applications will be rewritten / modernized in JAVA using Angular and Springboot.Collaborate with a Product Designer, team members and Business Owner to understand requirements for both enhancements in the current state applications and new developmentDevelop all aspects of the enhancements to existing application and new applicationCreate technical specifications and runbooksParticipate in test driven developmentPartner with Anchor Architects to design the architectureAssure correct security and data protection settingsThe candidate for the role must be a problem solver that can deal with ambiguity, and who is focused on getting things done with very strong follow-through.They must also be strong conceptual thinkers and demonstrate effective communication skills. Skills Required:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both IT (front-end and back-end developers), and our business partners2+ years of experience ASP Technology, VB Script and SQL ServerExperience/understanding of JAVA Springboot (APIs), and/or Angular (UI)Experience working in a CI/CD environment with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and PCF Native Cloud technologies is a plusStrong analytical, conceptual and reasoning skills Experience Preferred:Good knowledge of testing and security methodologies and tools such as SonarQube, CheckMarxGood understand of logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, and DynaTraceGood understanding of performance and load engineering and tuning Agile methodologies Possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all actions.Agile Project Management tools (Rally) is a plusMigration experience is a huge plusExperience creating technical specificationsBusiness process improvement experience Education Required: B.S.
