You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and software developers.You will work with your teammates on tasks such as:- Develop new software from algorithm definitions and prototypes
- Optimize, parallelize, and refactor software to maximize performance and improve maintainability
- Process collected sensor data from advanced imaging systems into viewable high-quality imagery and products
- Implement modern interfaces for App insertion into operational environments
- Add automated builds, tests and tools into a CI/CD infrastructure
- Containerize and deploy software into the Cloud through DevSecOps practices
- Use AWS or other provider services to support large scale production
- Support help desk, defect resolution, and enhancements for ongoing operations
- Practice and improve on agile development methodologies and tools
- Participate in best practice design and code reviews
- Must be a US Citizen willing and eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related technology field
- 3+ years of work experience developing software
- 2+ years objected oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP)
- Willingness to work on-site
- Active TS/SCI or Top Secret US Government security clearance
- Strong programming skills in C and Python
- Development on Linux
- Version control using Git
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing, Image Processing, Matlab, AWS, RESTful APIs, RESTful Web Services, Orchestration and Containerization (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
- Advanced education in Math, Physics
- Knowledge in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Electro-Optical (EO), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geospatial Data
- Development using Agile development practices
