Position Description:Full Stack Software Engineer position to work on a balanced team to deliver products and features for Connected Vehicles in the Core Connectivity Engineering and Operations organization. Cloud development: Define, Design, Develop and Deploy applications/services to support new vehicle features. Ensure quality, on-time delivery using Agile, TDD principles. Directly contribute to development activities utilizing Software Artisanship/Clean Code principles, practices and tools. Assist in setup, configuring, maintaining tools and frameworks that improve developer productivity, code health and automated build, test and code analysis. Work with Product Manager, Product Designer and Anchor engineers to shape the technology directions for the OTA product line. Collaborate with a balanced team of developers to deliver products/features. Span multiple environments (vehicle, cloud, mobile) to support end-to-end delivery and Product Support. Experience Required:3-5 yrs. minimum: Java, Spring, Cloud development and frameworks, micro service architecture, API's, Azure/PCF/Google Cloud Platform environments, TDD, agile, CI/CD, Angular Skills Required:Java development experience with spring and Spring Cloud frameworks. Experience in micro service architecture leveraging REST API's, Swagger for RESET API documentation, Cloud environments (PCF, Google Cloud Platform), Test-Driven Development and agile methodologies, Unit and Integration testing using mocking frameworks, CI/CD, Angular front-end. Skills Preferred:Git/GitHub source code repository, Rabbit, Kafka queues. Good communications skills and open to paired programming. Education Required:Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
