Sr. PLM Software Applications Developer

Our client has an opening for the position of Sr. PLM Software Applications Developer to work in Farmington Hills, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, architect solutions, perform systems analysis, and develop and update PLM (product lifecycle management) software Teamcenter utilizing engineering knowledge with software applications
• Responsible for Teamcenter application solution development and implementation
• Develop, configure, and implement Teamcenter UA (unified architecture) software modules to meet client requirements
• Teamcenter maintenance and performance tuning on Windows and Linux servers
• Consult with client about software system design and maintenance
• Consult client business needs and Teamcenter UA software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Develop, modify, and enhance Teamcenter software ancillary applications using Integration Toolkit (ITK) API
• Design, develop, and implement solution in Teamcenter Active Workspace
• Lift and shift on-premises Teamcenter to Cloud (Amazon cloud)
• Deploy the changes to UAT (user acceptance testing) environment and path to production: Sandbox->Dev->Test-QA-Prod servers
• Follow-up with user community and fix any issues
• Configure Teamcenter software using BMIDE and deploy templates to database
• Perform Teamcenter upgrades
• Develop process to track and maintain application licenses and power shell scripting
• Develop source control system and automate deployment of solution to different environments
• Use of Teamcenter UA, Teamcenter ITK, Teamcenter BMIDE, Teamcenter SOA API (Service Oriented Architecture Application Programming Interface), Java, Oracle, CAD software tools and integration with Teamcenter, and source code administration
• Travel and / or relocation required

• Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the job offered or 2+ years in a related occupation including Teamcenter Consultant, System Administrator, Programmer Analyst, or related experience
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with Teamcenter UA, Active Workspace, ITK, BMIDE, and Java
• Will accept Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience
• Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein
