- Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
- Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage and network connectivity.
- Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
- Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.

- CLIENT I has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Systems Administrator to support the Federal Protective Service (FPS) located at Battle Creek MegaCenter. In this role you will:
- Have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to interface with the government client, users, administrators, managers, and peer engineers. You are responsible for maintaining and managing the Windows server environment including various technical projects.
- Engineer, install, maintain, configure and optimize Microsoft workstation and server operating systems to include Windows Server 2016 and 10.
- Perform analysis for collaboration of network / system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware and software using a project-based timeline.
- Apply appropriate security measures to properly safeguard government systems by implementing industry standard best practices and FPS mandated mitigations.
- Support the distribution of security patches throughout the enterprise using Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and other enterprise level tools.
- Support the administration of Microsoft SQL databases, Veritas Backup Exec backups, and virtual servers using Nutanix.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions, guides, diagrams, and knowledge base articles.
- Prepare, participate, present in Change Management process, Technical Review Board, and Change Control Board.
- Document all work and updates in ServiceNow tickets.
