Position Description:The Development Operations (Dev Ops) role is a senior Technical / Delivery Lead-type role within Consumers Energy and will often serve as a technical lead on several application implementation projects Skills Required:Experience in CDN like Akamai with respect to Content Caching, Security, DNS Redirects, and CDN knowledgeExperience in the AEM ecosystem and having exposure to the design principles and supportExperience in monitoring and reporting software issues through Kibana, Dynatrace, and SplunkFamiliar with common database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle)Familiar with configuration management systems (Jenkins, etc.)Knowledge of development methodologies and platforms across various technologies (Cloud Services, Windows/Microsoft, Unix, API, microservices, reusable code libraries, etc.)Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment technologies (Git, GitFlow, Azure DevOps, etc.)App Dynamics, Building with high availability/Disaster Recovery in mind)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (e.g., Engineering)Cloud Hosting Knowledge2 years in DevOps2 years in Software Development (Java, JavaScript, etc.)Scripting skills (PowerShell Bash shell, etc.)Accuracy and Attention to Detail-Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracyBusiness Process Design-Knowledge of business process design techniques that encourage a critical, fresh look at key processes and focus on optimizing organizational performance; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
