Long-termDescription: Technical Support Senior is responsible for resolving escalated calls, emails, and requests. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensures all phases of technical support are properly coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, documented, and resolved appropriately to ensure timely resolution. Assist in acting on existing trouble tickets and resolving problems remotely with user community. Data Security – This role is critical in maintaining business continuity and data security around our highly confidential Vehicle Design assets. Cloud Computing – ICT skills in Cloud Computing are required to evaluate, plan, and migrate On-Premises solutions to Cloud based solutions. Game Engine Technology - Introduction of Game Engine Technology for 3D rendering and realistic animation will require knowledge of platform infrastructure and client setup. User Experience – Specialized tools, such as Figma, have been recently adopted by the PDO UX team, and require a secure data management platform. As the business adopts new tools, additional IT roles have been identified in system administration oversight and user authentication capabilities to protect our highly confidential design data. Review, analyse, and evaluate various systems operations. Performs advance root cause analysis and develops checklists for typical problems. Provide technical support on a variety of complex issues. Escalate problems to next level support professionals when necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of technical support activities.Requirements: Bachelor degree in CS or MIS required 5 years of experience in a related IT role required Prior experience providing user support including but not limited to; physically setting up computers and associated user accounts, maintaining asset tracking database and general tier one user support. Professional and customer focused demeanour. Demonstrate good ability to support, review, analyse, and evaluate various systems operations. Perform System Administration tasks in tools such as Invision, Figma, Jira, and Confluence Demonstrate ability to document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution. Working knowledge of: Active Directory, DFS, VPN, group policies. Working knowledge of MS365 tools (One Drive, mail, calendar, etc) Motivated to learn new technologiesPreferred Requirements: Experience in automotive and/or industrial design. Knowledge using designer specific software: Adobe, Autodesk, game engine Unity/Unreal, Figma, Confluence Executing software evaluations to determine viability Experience in cloud computing Working knowledge of Network Security/Firewalls Certifications: ITIL, Microsoft and CompTIA, RHCP, CCNA Windows PowerShell scripting Web and database application developmentRegards,Prateek Divakaran
