Technical Writer

FlexIT client has an immediate need for an

• Work with developers, testers, architects, team leads and senior management to produce and maintain professional documentation including SOPs, integration guides, etc.
• Learn complex concepts and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by novices
• Build and maintain aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online video, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques
• Establish a central repository with change management for articles
• Create documentation standards
• Edit content as appropriate for consistency and adherence to standards
• Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit operational procedures and manuals
• Research, develop and document technical design specifications
• Produce electronic documentation
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
• Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process
• Background knowledge of technical platforms and languages (e.g., REST APIs, ServiceNow, Rally)
• Experience with Agile Methodology

• Experience with Lean Methodology and Principles

• 3+ years technical writing experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
