RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Detroit, MI that is seeking a Testing Analyst.
Responsibilities: Development of the testing artifacts required for each assigned initiative The Testing Analyst will oversee the assigned QA personnel on the project, in all levels of test execution Participate in test execution as necessary Evaluate testing results and logged issues/defects Communicate testing results, level of quality, and product readiness to QA Management and the project team Participate in release planning and product roll-out The Testing Analyst will identify gaps in the QA and testing processes, and work with QA Manager to address them Provide guidance to less experienced QA personnelREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other related field of study 8 or more years of experience, with increasing responsibilities Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, concepts, and processes Overall passion and commitment to QA/testing Excellent testing skills Strong SQL skills; Ability to create complex queries Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., qTest, JIRA, Quality Center) Strong knowledge of, and experience in, Agile methodology and related processes Knowledge of FICO origination manager is desirable Ability to define requirements/user stories is desirable Software development experience is desirable Overall passion and commitment to QA/testingThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
