Role: TIBCO BW Consultant Location: Jackson MI (Initially Remote Role) Contract: 6+months Strong experience in TIBCO BW6.x
Responsibilities & Skills:- In-depth expertise in the software design, development, implementation and supporting of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions
- Good knowledge of XML, XSD, DTD, XSLT, XPATH, SOAP, Rest, JSON.
- Experience with TIBCO product installation and configuring core TIBCO components on multiple platforms including UNIX & Windows.
- Excellent understanding of SOA, ESB and Enterprise Integration architecture
- Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL for Oracle, SQL Server, MS SQL, Postgres, MongoDB, NoSQL DBs etc
- Experience with agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)
- TIBCO deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with additional TIBCO integration software such as Messaging (EMS, FTL, eFTL), Mashery, Administrator, TRA, Hawk, Adapters and plugins
- Good to have Cloud and on-premise integration
- Good to have the understanding of APIs, API management and microservices
- Extensive experience migrating/upgrading services from BW 5.x to BW 6.x.
- Installing, configuring and establishing completely new TIBCO BW6 environment (DEV, TST and PROD)
- Developing BW 5.x to BW 6.6 Upgrade strategy and Implementation plan
- Developing and presenting BW 5.x to BW 6.6 Proof-of-Concept to management.
- Took a lead role in coordinating with TIBCO support and resolving BW 5.x to BW 6.6 migration issues.
- Migrated 40+ BW 5.x to BW 6.6, services types mentioned in above paragraph.
