Your RoleThe Tool Crib Attendant supports Operations by overseeing all aspects of the tool room. You will be responsible for proper stock, storage, and handling of production tooling and spare parts. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

You will issue tools and parts as requested by the rivet production team.

Review visual inventory reports provided by assistant

Ensure accuracy for both physical component inventory and computerized inventory.

You will perform cycle counts and compare to computerized inventory

Assist in researching parts/tooling/supplies for orders.

You will order parts for maintenance as needed.

You will pull product to meet machine requirements as requested by the supervisor or set-up person.

Print work orders for cold heading machines in both building 1 and 2.

Assist with building toolkits for change overs for the Cold Heading Department.

You will inspect used tooling to be stored or reissued.

You will maintain cleanliness of the department and work area.

Daily stocking of vending machines for consumables.

You will coordinate with shipping and receiving for repairs/returnsTo succeed, you will needREQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Experience and knowledge of cold heading tooling is a plus.

Must have understanding, technical expertise or experience in the following areas: hand tools and their functions; precision measuring tools to include micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, etc.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Working knowledge of Asset Essentials, Syspro and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel)

Must have work schedule flexibility to support production.
