Traveling Assistant Project Manager - Retail Construction

Turner & Townsend is currently seeking driven, focused and qualified Assistant Project Managers to support the delivery of projects to our Automotive Retail clients. The position is a primarily field-based role that is dedicated to delivering multiple projects within each region located across the USA.  In more detail, this role is remote with regional travel, must be located near a major airport.Manage the implementation of client’s Visual Identity standards, in line with client requirementsManage client teams, including architects, engineers and supply chain to deliver brand-compliant projectsAnalyze, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slipVerify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilizedEnsure application of best practice on all projectsProduction of formal project status reports and other reports as requiredMonitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctlyManage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviewsManage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communicationsForecast and update key project milestonesManage and monitor local design teams in accordance with client and commission criteriaProvide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholdersRapid response to RFIsIndependent review of status reports, drawing submittals, and schedules provided from architects, contractors and suppliersSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
