Warehouse Expeditor

Adecco is looking for someone that can work alone as well as in a team environment. This role would require repetitive lifting, organizing and critical thinking.Our client in Rochester Hills has a contract opportunity for a expeditor. The main function of this position is learning leather requirements for various types of order and cut appropriate samples. This also includes reviewing the quality of the leather throughout the process. If you meet the qualifications listed below - Apply Now!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:1) Rolling and boxing hide orders2) Learning leather and be an expert at selecting samples3) Labeling samples accurately4) Keep accurate records of design horse inventory6) Maintain clean work area7) Track stock of boxes, rolling tubes, and other commonly used supplies.8) Utilize/learn latest technologies to complete listed tasks.9) Other duties as assignedDesired Skills1) Strong Organizational skills2) Ability to work in a team environment and take direction3) Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds5) Must be able to speak/understand/read/write English or show aptitude6) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written7) Willingness/Ability to learnRequirements-HS Diploma/GED-Be able to pass a color discrimination test-Inventory experiencePay Details: $18.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
