Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly unaudited financial statements for multiple clients

Perform bookkeeping services and financial reviews for clients

Process payroll for multiple companies and ensure compliance with tax regulations

Respond to income tax notices from federal and state taxing authorities

Assist clients with accounting related questions

Collaborate with team members on accounting issues

Contribute to firm goals and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Broad accounting experience with proven problem-solving skills

Experience processing payroll for multiple companies

Strong computer and technical skills

Knowledge of business and management principles related to strategic planning and resource allocation

Experience with individual tax preparation (preferred, not required)

Action-oriented, self-starter with ability to work independently

Strong customer service orientation with sense of urgency in responding to client needs

Personal characteristics: self-confident, resourceful, detail-oriented, motivated, disciplined, and effective in building client relationships
