Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Duluth, Georgia. This role is integral to our team, involving the management of various accounting processes related to acquisitions, financial reporting, compliance, project accounting, audit coordination, and process improvement. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting processes related to mergers, acquisitions, and asset purchases Prepare, present, and analyze detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies, implementing and maintaining internal controls as necessary Handle accounting activities for various projects, including cost tracking, project budgeting, and revenue recognition Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any findings or recommendations Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting department and implement automation and best practices to enhance accounting workflows and reporting accuracy Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient management of accounting functions Utilize Sage Intacct software for various accounting tasks Manage accounting activities in the construction industry, applying knowledge of Construction Accounting Oversee Project Accounting, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting for projects Handle accounting processes related to Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A), ensuring accurate consolidation of financial informationRequirements Must hold a minimum of 7 years' experience in an accounting management role Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Sage Intacct Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required Demonstrated experience in handling Accounting Functions Strong understanding of Construction Accounting and Project Accounting Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) is desirable Must be able to plan, direct, and evaluate work of team members Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, a master's degree is preferred Professional Accounting certification such as CPA or CMA is a plusIf you possess the above qualifications and wish to be considered, please submit resume to Cole Collins.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
