Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Golden Valley, Minnesota. The role involves various aspects of Accounts Payables, and assisting the department in other areas as needed. This position is a great chance to work in the telecom provider industry, where you will have the chance to apply your accounting related experience and strong technical skills.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of Accounts Payables Assist the department in other areas as required Exhibit strong technical skills in daily tasks Utilize accounting related experience to enhance the efficiency of the department Apply skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP in daily tasks Maintain accurate customer credit records Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Resolve customer credit inquiries effectively and efficiently Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management Experience in using financial software like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for financial transactions and reporting Proven skills in account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records Familiarity with accounts payable processes and systems Experience in coding invoices for appropriate categorization and recording Ability to perform check runs to process payments and maintain records Strong data entry skills to maintain and update financial databases Demonstrated experience in invoice processing, including verifying and recording invoices Understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly related to accounts payable Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts payable Excellent communication skills to coordinate with vendors and other departments for accounts payable matters Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
