Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts payable Associate for the western suburbs. This position is a hybrid model. Compensation up to $60K.Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner Collaborate with plants to ensure prompt invoice coding and approval Handle vendor inquiries with professionalism and efficiency Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records of vouchers Play a crucial role in maintaining the three-way match of purchase order, warehouse receiving documentation, and vendor invoice Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Data Entry for daily operations Uphold the highest standards of coding invoices.If you are interested, please reach out to Steve Cashman on LinkedIn or call Steve at 612.446.5690.Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or a similar position Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) is required Experience in Coding Invoices is a must Strong Data Entry skills are necessary Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy in work is required Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is necessary Must hold a high degree of confidentiality and business ethics Prior experience in the Plastics Manufacturing industry is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is desired Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping practices is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
