Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a remote, part time, Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, your main responsibility will be to manage customer accounts, process credit applications, and keep precise records. Additionally, you will be tasked with resolving customer inquiries and ensuring the seamless operation of our accounting functions. This position offers a short term contract employment. Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications efficiently Keep precise and current customer credit records Oversee customer accounts, ensuring they are monitored and necessary actions are taken when required Address any customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner Utilize the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system effectively for all accounting functions Manage account coding and accrual accounting tasks Carry out regular auditing of accounts and transactions Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions Oversee vendor statements and maintain relationships with vendor suppliers Carry out other related duties as assigned.Requirements Strong proficiency in Account Coding is required. Demonstrable experience with Accounting Software Systems is necessary. Familiarity and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is vital. Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is essential. Significant experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required. Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is a must. Prior experience in Auditing is crucial. Proficiency in Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is needed. Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is desirable. Ability to handle and reconcile Vendor Statements is necessary. Experience dealing with Vendor Suppliers is required.
