Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description Our client is seeking a highly proficient, reliable, and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist with extensive experience in QuickBooks to join their finance department. The ideal candidate is expected to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of operations, process, verify, and reconcile invoices, and monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other inconsistencies.Key Responsibilities:

Generate invoices and account statements

Maintain accounts receivable files and records

Investigate and resolve any irregularities or customer queries

Perform account reconciliations promptly

Maintain confidentiality of organizational information

Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered

Analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance

Draft financial projections for management

Operate QuickBooks to manage, extract, and relay necessary data or reports

Working collaboratively with the finance team to ensure smooth operations and effective account management

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred

Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accountant

Proficiency in QuickBooks software is a must

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

Ability to accurately process numerical data

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent organization and prioritization skills
