Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in St Louis Park, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and resolving customer payment disputes, maintaining customer credit records, and improving internal business partnerships.Responsibilities: Effectively secure and organize dispute backup from customers through various communication channels. Conduct detailed research on unknown disputes and communicate partial payment invoices. Maintain accurate documentation of research processes in relevant systems. Review and identify systemic issues in write-offs processed by automated cash application instructions. Conduct root cause analysis on disputes and collaborate with customers and internal teams to reduce future disputes. Display ability to research, summarize, and present facts, both in writing and verbally, to customers and internal sales team for dispute resolution and collection of unauthorized disputes. Work towards improving consistency and streamlining processes, and develop documentation for training purposes. Actively participate in reoccurring AR business review meetings and keep superiors informed of activities that may require their attention. Develop strong relationships to maintain and improve our internal business partnerships. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must for managing and interpreting data. Experience in Account Reconciliation is required to ensure financial records are accurate. Proficiency in resolving Account Discrepancies and Dispute Resolution is essential to manage any issues that may arise in the accounts receivable process. Applicants must have a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures.
