REM Heartland, a member of the Sevita family, provides services for Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury, Autism, and other complex needs.Hiring Immediately! Wages starting at $17.64 per hour! We are seeking staff to support children and adolescents with Autism or similar challenges. This position provides services to children and adolescents with a broad array of disabilities, whether that be behavioral, physical, or mental health through assistance with activities of daily living. Within the home staff will prepare meals, assist with medical administration, and assist with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing and toileting as well as teach strategies to live as independently as possible. Outside of the home staff will run errands, transport to medical appointments and enjoy recreational activities. Qualifications: Must be minimum of 21 years of age
Six months of experience in human services preferred
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
Successful clearance of background checks
A reliable, responsible attitude
