FUNCTION/POSITION OVERVIEW

Join the General Mills Enterprise Integration Technologies (3rd Party Platforms) team in delivering world-class Managed File Transfer (MFT), Application to Application (A2A) and Business to Business (B2B) integration solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and support file transfer and enterprise integration solutions for General Mills globally. Educate clients on the capabilities and standards we use to deliver Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
  • Understand client needs and business processes, build/script solutions to meet their needs, and interface with external partners to configure connections
  • Grow into role as technical expert and systems owner for Application to Application (A2A) communication and Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms.
  • Perform administration, support and maintenance, and technical leadership during upgrades
  • Leverage Linux, Python and PowerShell scripting skills to automate Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions and the administration of the Managed File Transfer (MFT) environment
  • Consult and recommend Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions during various phases of a project
  • Research and implement new Managed File Transfer (MFT)/ integration technologies and strategies
  • Provide support and administration for the webMethods product suite. Depending on level of development background, may grow into a role where you develop and maintain custom built services in webMethods FLOW & Java.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ supporting/delivering complex IT solutions
  • Familiarity / understanding of IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, database)
  • Experience w/ Linux OS
  • Linux, Python and PowerShell scripting/Application development experience
  • Desire to learn and gain experience w/ Managed File Transfer (MFT), EDI standards, XML and Flat File integration
  • Experience administering high-availability, business-critical systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, focused on root cause analysis and continuous improvement
  • Cloud IaaS experience would be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • High initiative with desire to understand the General Mills' business and a willingness to learn and use multiple tools to solve business problems
  • Self-starter, results oriented, able to execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of and ability to operate within project management methodology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years related experience supporting/delivering complex IT solutions
