Job Title: Electric Motor AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a meticulous Electric Motor Assembler to join our team. The role involves assembling very small motors, each weighing approximately 1 pound. This position requires a high level of attention to detail as you will be working with very small parts and engaging in repetitive tasks. Although J-Standard certification is a significant plus, it is not required.Responsibilities
Assemble and test electric motors using hand and power tools.
Follow manufacturing test procedures and implement continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process.
Perform electronic and/or mechanical assembly, read schematics and mechanical drawings, and operate machine tools and production tooling/fixtures.
Place parts in specified relationships either as sub-assemblies or final assemblies by soldering, clipping, screwing, or fastening all parts together using blueprints or schematics.
Rotate to different work stations as production needs require.
Help pack products into individual boxes and cases and place them on skids.
Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and handle and move supplies and materials.
Verify that outside labels and unit labels are consistent for all packet parts.
Clean equipment and work areas by performing daily and weekly safety checks of equipment.
Essential Skills
Experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly.
Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
Proficiency in machine tool operations and operation of production tooling and fixtures.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand throughout the duration of the shift, and perform bending, twisting, and reaching tasks.
Must be able to read, understand, and speak English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Soldering skills are a plus but not required.
J-Standard certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
