The Associate Engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining automated test fixtures to support our global manufacturing operations. Using a combination of electrical, mechanical, and basic software skills, the Associate Engineer develops a custom test platform for our custom embedded electronic controllers. The Associate Engineer works with personnel from multiple departments as well as our customers to ensure requirements are clearly defined and provide maximum coverage.

AS AN ASSOCIATE ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
  • Design and manage custom test fixtures being utilized in a manufacturing environment.
  • Support test equipment in the manufacturing environment.
  • Perform root cause analysis on test equipment and recommend design changes.
  • Write programming scripts using batch files, python scripts and test scripts.
  • Embedded software development using C.
  • Concise documentation of test fixture.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's Degreein Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast paced, team environment

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
  • Previous experience in test engineering
  • Embedded software development
  • Hardware design/ troubleshooting
  • Data Analytics / Statistics knowledge
  • Knowledge with Microchip processors a plus
