SPECIALIST VIDEO PRODUCTION

OVERVIEW

As part of the Meeting Experience team, this position will assist with and lead audio-visual support for high profile meetings big and small, ensuring a high level of customer service and technical implementation. It is required that the person in this role have the knowledge and skill to use the collaboration technology tools available to employees in order to advise and assist on their use. This role will also be hands-on in delivering related technical services including but not limited to meeting support, production support and AV project planning. This role requires a wide range of A/V experience. Candidates that also have an area of expertise, such as audio technician (A1), will be preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work as a team to ensure coverage for daily meeting and event support needs
  • Support onsite, virtual, and occasional offsite meetings to include: Assisting customers with meeting planning
  • Leverage internal resources when possible
  • Provide guidance on cost, and manage coordination with external A/V resources when required
  • Setup, test, and operate needed technology
  • Collaborate with IT on corporate communication technology standards and support for all US and International sites
  • Educate customers on use of presentation technology and room systems
  • Work with manager to determine needs for conference room and audio-visual capital projects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four-year degree with at least 2 years of A/V support experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, will consider five years' experience
  • Experience operating a wide range of audio-visual equipment (including projectors, laptops, microphones, sound boards, AV control systems, video switcher, PTZ cameras, etc.) and understanding of signal flow.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Computer and AV troubleshooting experience
  • Exceptional analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated passion for service excellence and end user engagement
  • Proven ability to plan, manage multiple tasks/activities and prioritize appropriately
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with technical and business partners at all levels
  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Adept verbal and written communicator
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to travel occasionally -
  • Experience with Teams, Teams Live Event, and Zoom
  • An area of expertise (such as A1)
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management including the CEO and board of directors
