Job Description :15 years of Quality Assurance testing experience. Experience designing automation frameworks for web UI, API, Mobile, Security, Performance and with specific phases of the software development life cycle, especially requirement development analysis, test planning and execution. Expert with Quality Assurance Best Practice methodologies, creating standards and generating dashboards and metrics.

Roles & Responsibilities :
  • This position is responsible for creating and promoting Quality Assurance standards and best practices along with establishing quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the organization.
  • This individual will also be responsible for designing automation BDD frameworks for web UI, API, Mobile, Security and Performance related to the testing of Land O'Lakes systems, databases, user interfaces.
  • Expertise in tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, BrowserStack and experience creating dashboards and metrics using these tools.
  • The QA Analyst Principal role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as creativity and the ability to work with business requirements and concepts. The ability to meet quality on multiple tasks simultaneously and keep schedule commitments is essential. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment as this role works with the business user community, technical teams, and end-users to successfully develop and implement quality changes into production.
  • Collaborate with business partners, IT team leads, project leads, business analysts, end users and third- party contacts
  • Advise, mentor, train or assist members in the organization at other skill levels, as needed, to ensure timely releases of highly tested quality of changes prior to implementations.
  • Apply knowledge and skills to a range of assignments including the more complex testing efforts across the enterprise. Proactively contributes, offers recommendations, and identifies risks and solutions associated with proposed or existing software applications strategies.
  • Design and create automated test scripts and scenarios.
  • Create and manage testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
  • Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, schedule, and complete testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules. Well versed in all aspects of testing (e.g. analysis, planning, performance, automation, security etc.) and able to speak to needs for each.
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers and project, managers or leads, Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
  • Participate in product design reviews, providing input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, or potential risks.
  • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
  • Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.
  • Comply with standards and tollgates of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within Information Systems.
  • Contribute to, suggest and implement process improvements that will accomplish team, department and business goals. Strive for efficiency, consistency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of testing knowledge transfer documents.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
