Backend Java Developer

Title: Core Java Developer Location: Minneapolis-Need relocation in 3-4 weeks Client: SLK/Huntington Bank Mode- C2C At least 8 years in Java Core Development. Experience working with Java 8 or 11, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, and Jenkins. Hands-on production experience and a deep understanding of the Kafka architecture and components: brokers, Zookeeper, producers/consumers, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams Strong fundamentals in Kafka administration, configuration, and troubleshooting Knowledge of Kafka clustering, and its fault-tolerance model supporting HA and DR High personal code/development standards (peer testing, unit testing, etc). Having strong knowledge on SQL to understand existing ones and convert into APIs. Should have practical and sound knowledge on Micro-services Responsible for Performing risk and control self assessments. Responsible for Policy/Controls and Process Documentation. Work with identified Segment Operational Risk Manager in the administration of the corporate risk management program. Work with identified business segment(s) to identify key risks and controls and develop and conduct testing of those controls. Perform the risk and control self assessments. Develop, maintain and continually enhance a proactive operational and regulatory risk management program and related initiatives. Identify, assess, communicate and implement regulatory issuances. Ensure the timely completion of all testing requirements in accordance with guidelines. Assist the business segment in the timely remediation of issues. Help foster a risk awareness culture in the business segment.
