Billing Clerk

Description We are looking to fill a Billing Clerk position. This role is critical to the operations, primarily dealing with the creation, dispatch, and processing of invoices along with general billing duties for large clients. This role offers a contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Support the accounting team by creating, sending out, and processing invoices accurately and efficiently. Carry out general billing duties for large clients. Utilize various software for troubleshooting, researching problems, and ensuring efficient operations. Communicate effectively both as an individual contributor and in a team environment. Demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Leverage analytical skills to navigate complex billing scenarios. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites proficiently in daily tasks. Handle core accounting functions with precision and professionalism. Oversee billing functions and ensure accurate record-keeping. Administer collection processes and deliver excellent customer service when resolving customer credit inquiries.Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in a billing role within the legal industry Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel Understanding of accounting and billing functions Excellent customer service skills Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of integrity Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be adaptable and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
