Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Shoreview, Minnesota. In the role of Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will encompass the management of financial records, including customer applications, account reconciliation, and responding to customer inquiries. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our financial activities.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring all information is current and accurate. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to monitor customer account activity. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting tasks. Oversee the month-end close process to ensure all accounting activities are completed. Manage payroll functions, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. Utilize QuickBooks for various bookkeeping activities. Proactively resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.
