Description:We're looking for a mid shift full-time Facilities Maintenance individual at a large commercial skyscraper in downtown Minneapolis. This employee will be working for Cushman & Wakefield, but will be onsite at Ameriprise.This is an Operating Engineer position that could lead into a full time Assistant Chief Engineer position down the road with potential opportunities for advancement internally.Job duties include:Basic facilities maintenance duties
Change light bulbs
Check toilet seats and tighten or replace
Repair auto flushers, auto faucets and auto soap dispensers
Respond to plugged drains and toilets and open or call sewer service if needed
Perform monthly checklist inspections and service to found items or work order created to have issues taken care of.
Do setup in conference rooms when requested.
Change water filters on designated schedule
Any and all janitorial/custodial/light maintenance dutiesOperating Engineer duties:
A wide range of HVAC and/or mechanical and electrical equipment repairs
Operate and maintain all building systems: HVAC pneumatic and direct digital controls, A/C units, chillers, boilers, compressors, emergency electrical power generators, ventilation units, refrigeration units, exhaust systems.
Customer Service - this location has multiple tenants, so all Facilities employees must have good customer service skills working around a variety of building tenants.

-Must have 5+ years Building or Facilities maintenance experience
-Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
-Must have 2+ years experience repairing the following equipment or completing the following duties:
-HVAC
-Boilers
-Troubleshooting equipment
-Repairing Toilets,
-Changing light bulbs
-Changing basic water and furnace filtersPreferred certifications
-Chief Engineer Classes A, B or C;
-First Class Engineer Classes A, B or C;
-Second Class Engineer Classes A, B or C;
