OverviewThis position is to be filled in Minneapolis, MN working a Hybrid Schedule - (3 days onsite; 2 days home office).As the Category Analyst in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry you will perform a valuable role in supporting the category advisor team and building a strong partnership with our Client by providing merchandising solutions and decision support that drive growth for the business.You will conduct high quality analysis and synthesis of multi-source data to evaluate item performance, assortment planning and store clustering through the modular process, while leveraging effective communication & influencing to orchestrate action.#hybrid #iri #nielsen #analyticsResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:

Provide analytical support for category management projects and initiatives utilizing various CPG data sources and tools.

System tools required: IRI; Nielsen, JDA

System tools a plus : Partners On Line; VendorIQ, CKS

Strong storytelling skills

Build, update and refresh weekly and monthly dashboards

Participate in the development of sales presentations incorporating syndicated and other sources of data that addresses business issues.

Work closely with business managers to ensure quality results are delivered

Keep abreast of clients KPI's, strategies, innovation and other important information.

QualificationsEducation Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience Requirements:

2-3 years related Analytic work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

Demonstrate an intermediate degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel and PowerPoint .

Knowledge of Power BI and advanced macros would be a strong asset.

Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools would be an asset.

Demonstrates a drive for results , pursuing assigned tasks with energy and a desire to achieve.

Understand and apply basic math and CPG principles in achievement of assigned work.

Effectively communicate and interact with others and work effectively within a team .
