Description: DESCRIPTION Agile Practitioner/Developer (Talend) Work location ? remote / telecommute Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)? 8-4:30pm PROJECT: OCEP is a marketing platform on Azure sql DB, streaming & data ingestion to the data mart. TOP REQUIREMENTS: Design and develop reusable Talend ETL job flows that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance. Able to integrate with multiple data sources utilizing various technologies such as ODBC, FTP, API, Kafka in platforms such as Windows, Unix/Linux. Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles Perform software quality assurance What experience will set candidates apart from one another? REQUIREMENTS: 5 7 years of experience as an ETL developer in data warehouse environment using tools such as Informatica or Data Stage, preferably Talend Strong knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and concepts, including ETL processes and dimensional data modeling Experience with system integration across multiple systems and platforms utilizing various technologies such as ODBC, FTP, Window, Unix/Linux, and AS400 Experience working with high volume databases with partitioned data, performance and tuning Experience working with cross functional development, QA, test and production teams Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and delivering high quality consulting services Experience with complex SQL queries, PL/SQL knowledge. Basic knowledge in Java would be preferred. Experience in Kafka streaming process.
