CNC Machinist

Job Title: Mill MachinistJob DescriptionAs a Mill Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and setting up Haas, Matsuura, and Makino CNC 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling centers with Haas and Fanuc controls. Your work will produce components used in various industries including analytical instrumentation and life sciences, aerospace, defense, medical, and electronics. You will perform multiple complex set-ups each day, working with materials such as Aluminum (60-70%), various stainless steels, engineered plastics, Titanium, Molybdenum, and Hastelloy. The machining runs are usually short, typically less than 100 parts.Hard Skills

5+ years of setting up vertical milling centers

Proficiency with a variety of inspection tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Gibbscam familiarity preferred

Soft Skills

Attention to detail

Ability to work independently and with a team

Comfortability training new operators

Ability to communicate and troubleshoot problems
